#TheSexualViolenceCounterattack project is an offline and online project.

#TheSexualViolenceCounterattack online campaign project aims to fight back against the often-overlooked pandemic that is sexual violence by educating victims and non-victims on how to detect or point out sexual violence, what to do if victimized, and how to act against sexual violence. This is done using social media and info graphics.

Sexual Assault Against female Nigerian Students research included 268 female students from 4 tertiary institutions in Borno state, Nigeria.

The results showed that 13.8% were assaulted as students. Of that percentage 7.1% were assaulted by their lecturers and fellow students, while 6.7% were sexually assaulted by someone outside their institution. And 40.5% of the students were assaulted 2 - 4 times.

OBJECTIVES of the university project:

> Fight against ignorance or lack of awareness of and about sexual violence in the student community.

> Create available victim support systems in the school.

> Ensure that the school is a safe place for the students.

> Establish a sexual-violence-non-tolerance school environment.
