Theory to Practical!

Economic sustainability, theory to practice!

Hallo member,

From theory to practice, and the results are amazing... I am over the moon ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ

We often talk to our women about small economic activities they can engage in to improve their lives. But this time, I decided to put the theory into practice.

For those in Kenya or Africa, bear me witness that water shortage is a major challenge in Maasai communities, yet many families have pieces of land that can be explored.

I planted sweet potatoes on my mumโ€™s land as a small experiment to see how they would grow in this harsh, dry areaโ€”where water is gold, and people carefully ration its use because of scarcity and the long distances they have to walk to fetch it.

And voila! The harvest is here.... I canโ€™t keep calm! ๐Ÿ˜‚

This has fueled the drive even more. Sometimes, we just need to start with what we have, learn, adapt, and grow.

Who is walking with us?

What other crops can do well in dry, arid/semi-arid areas? Share your ideas, and Let's fasten our belts and educate our women on ways to improve their economic value, and nutrition.
