The World Pulse 50: What the Leah Auma Okeyo Prize means to me

I'm one of the World Pulse 50 — Leah Auma Poetry Prize

I am extremely happy and feel so honoured to receive the Auma Leah award. I am glad I have written poems which do not only speak to me but other women too especially those on World Pulse community which is a family in another form engulfed in love and support to lift each other up which I look forward to continue being part in many more years to come

Thank you so much for recognizing my work and making me part of this incredible award.

Dedicate this award to Jill, Karen Q and all the women in World Pulse.

Thank you Auma Leah Award.
