I'm one of the World Pulse 50 — Storyteller
I am here, this morning, reading good news. You are there. Somewhere. In another house, another city, another rural area, another country. Another continent. But the same planet. And I can imagine you and you, with my words can imagen me. I dream you. You dream me. I could barely know exactly where you are but I can tell you exactly where I am.
Its 6: 31 am, on a thursday and the sun it is in the horizon. I can not see it as I am in the cloud forest but I can feel it. On my skin. On my bones. On my spirit. Ludovico is sounding on my computer, my dogs are quite, my son is quite. Birds are approaching my window, my hands are in front of my eyes and I could move them on my keyboard smoothly. I love this feeling of being able to tell something, to describe you my window where I can see huge trees and now a cloud with also a blue sky at the back. Everything is so quite, so green, so humid and also cold. But I am lucky enough to have a warm house, to feel the warmest atmosphere that surrounds me.
I have many books. Everywhere. And when I take them, I go also to other places. To others lives. I could imagine how this people lived. Sometimes I wish other animals could write, other beings, a tree, as I think their histories would mesmerized us. They have also so much to tell us. So much. ..
My little dog Ori comes to say hello. Now under my legs she might feel what I feel when I am with mom, when I am under this huge tree, under the ocean, inside a maloca, inside my home.
The voice of Alessia Tondo is so powerful that my spirit goes now to some memories. I remember other times, another moments when I lived beautiful experiences that I do not want to forget. As everyday I walk on amazing paths, I have seen so many things. An Otter, she was silent, and only the water unveil her. She jump into the marble water of Rio Claro and I knew I have another story to remember, another story to tell. That is the power of the story telling. We can take others with us in our experiences. Even if they never happened.
