The World Pulse 50: What Storytelling means to me

I'm one of the World Pulse 50 — Storyteller

I have always loved writing, and it rekindles the passion in me. For me, storytelling is an art. It is something special for me. To share our emotions, thoughts, feelings, hardships, and much more.

Through the stories that I have posted on this amazing platform, I have been able to take the narrative inside of me, and to be inside the narrative myself. My story posted on accessibility and disability is that of my own, and it depicts the struggles I have faced as a woman with a disability living in a developing country, and the discrimination, limitations I have faced only on account of my disability and gender.

I feel storytelling is a unique art in itself and raising our voices through storytelling not only brings about our ideas, but it also enables our readers to actually put themselves in our position, and imagine our plight through our story, and the examples depicted in it.
