The World Pulse 50: What being a Changemaker means to me

I’m one of the World Pulse 50 – Changemaker

There are some very salient issues in society that needs to be given thorough attention, especially women it comes to the rights and wellbeing for people.

Changemaking to me means sensitizing people from ignorance to awareness, having a sense of responsibility, and cultivating a habit of leaving behind meaningful marks. Social change does not happen instantly but actions taken can make meaningful impact one day at a time.

It means taking innovative actions to influence and inspire others to join, support, and contribute to making adjustments that will cause a shift in mindset.

I believe that every time I am able to change one person’s world has the potential to improve lives for years to come. Changemaking to me means taking responsibility, contributing to the greater good, and persisting until a positive difference is achieved. I believe that Small things can make big social impact.
