THE WOMAN WHO SAVED MANY LIVES



Dr Stella Ameyo Adadevoh was a female Nigerian Doctor who halted the spread of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Nigeria by restraining the Liberian-American (Patrick Sawyer) who brought the deadly disease from Liberia into Nigeria. Dr Adadevoh was determined to help Mr Sawyer get better,she put her life at risk in order to save millions of lives. Many others in her situation would have ran away or avoided Mr Sawyer.



That Nigeria has been declared Ebola free by World Health Organisation (WHO) is mainly credited to Dr Stella Ameyo Adadevoh. Her bravery to help others led to her death.



What a woman!



Dr Adadevoh would have been 58 years old on 27th October 2014.



Rest in peace Dr Stella Ameyo Adadevoh.
