The two women were alone in the London flat...

I just finished reading a novel called The Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing. While reading this book I felt surrounded and almost stifled by the protagonist, Anna's, thoughts - it was an all-encompassing experience. Anna keeps four notebooks in order to divide her thoughts, and at the end she intertwines them. I think this book could be an example of female literary style. Read this book and live inside another woman's head for a while.

\"There's only one real sin, and that is to persuade oneself that the second-best is anything but the second-best.\" - Doris May Lessing, The Golden Notebook.
