The motive

I came across World Pulse after a long and infructuous search on the internet for THAT website that answered my expectations; I have found the place which is in line with my vision of life. Humility and Service, that how is see life in general; It gives joy beyond measure to serve others, to fulfil that need at the right time expecting nothing in return but the happiness in the eyes of the other. I don’t pretend I’m angel or perfect I see myself as I truly am, and that is what I want to share, the love and esteem of self. It’s our differences that make the beauty of this world, and I believe uniting our difference will give us the Eden we yearn for. Touching people’s lives with your unique gift!
I see myself as a traveller in this life which is the terminal where I await the train of death to start the real adventure, the fact that I know not neither the time of departure of my train nor its destination make me want to smile, console, love and talk to everybody I meet during my wait at this terminal. For I am sure I didn’t not meet them at that time and place accidentally. So I will go as far as I can go, meet as many people as possible and share as much as I can be able, infantile I know but that’s just me! I don’t want to change the world I just want people to change their perspectives.
To be more concrete in terms of others there is a plague in my community I fight against cultural and religious dogmas! There is a rare form of inequality in Cameroon called tribalism; people just can’t see each other because they’re from different ethnic group and when you know that there are over 260 ethnic groups you can start to get the picture. There are so many cultural creeds that people just pass on from one generation to the next that just make no sense, this has been cemented by religion. I’ll take the case of Christianity because I am Christian the bible says in 1 Timothy Chapter 2 verse 8 – 15 (NKJV) “… that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, 10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. 11 Let a woman learn in silence WITH ALL SUBMISSION. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 15 NEVERTHELESS SHE WILL BE SAVED IN CHILDBEARING if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.” When a macho hears this it opens the way to all forms of abuses, a woman can only earn paradise through her husband or childbearing?! This could simply be explained by the fact that Apostle Paul lived at a time where women had nothing to say and his cultural beliefs influenced his preaching, if the woman had nothing to say I don’t think Mary Magdalene would have ever written an epistle. This is just to illustrate the fact that we can do and undo as we evolve in technology, medicine etc. our minds and customs also have to evolve. That is what I would like to change in my community, let people dare think beyond their vessels and free themselves from the dogma, preach tolerance instead of marginalisation, Love in the place of hate,
Free yourself from any form of dogma, love yourself and love others as yourself, is a message I want to share with the whole world, and I know that VOF will give me the know-how, and help me nurture my Voice and dreams, inspire me and help me communicate, share and express. To be a part a such a wonderful adventure doesn’t happen every day and most of the human adventure behind all this, the wonderful people you meet is just priceless. It was my honour to have participated.
