THE MOST CHALLENGING BRIDGE 2022 HAS GONE.

A new year has come and the old one has gone. Firstly I want to thank everyone who made me smile, who were there in time of difficulties and challenges/odds. Mostly I am thanking my world pulse sisters who gave a listening ear to whatever was being reported to them or channelled to them. I noticed that this group of persons have all the patience and time for everyone to explain their worries, challenges especially the change makers lab community. I had so many challenges which led to blood pressure and nearly made me fall on the road at the police station were I went to make a new identity card for myself.

Secondly I got a new job which was good and I said to myself that, this can at least help me support my work on the field. But my thought was wrong because what I earn monthly is not up to $100. The worse of it is that, the lady who is my chief of section is a torn to my flesh until am thinking of quitting the job. Her problem is that when ever she is to present her analysis, there is a lot of mistakes and errors and when I am asked to present the analysis, it's always clear and my boss will also appreciate my work infront of her. She became angry and starts humiliating me. We both work in the same section but this is her first time working in finances while I have been working there for years. Since in my country it is certificate that matters and not your skills or experience she has to remain on that post. Ill health was another problem. Futhermore I was robbed and some of my stuff were taken away and in addition to that I had to struggle and see how I can pick up my life again. All of these had to bring me stress for me and my family.

One thing that motivated me was the fact that I have sisters who were there for me to council me, advice me gave me courage and even looked for opportunity where I can get enough counseling to bring me back to the present.

The person that mostly faught my stress and brought me back to life or to my senses is Mum Jill. I call mum Jill because she makes me feel the love of a mother she is always there waiting for anything I tell her, she had to link me and mr Victor for a counseling program which it went well and was successful and it helped release stress. I cried when we had to session and my Victor felt so bad but he brought my mine back to normal.

Moving to the change makers lab, I express my sincere gratitude to the who took all the time prepare this program. I have learned a lot from this program through the training session that they give, making me to understand that you just one project at a time making sure that you are successful with the project before moving to the next one. Knowing whether your project is successful or not is on of the lessons that is handled in the change makers lab program.

I had the greatest surprise were I was selected from amongst more than the 69 entrants in the world pulse community vote drawing as one of the winner. It was so surprising and since my email was hacked one time, I was afraid and immediately I screen shotted the page and send it straight to mum Jill for confirmation. When she confirmed it was real, I jumped and shouted yes God has done it for me.

I used some and bought more male condoms to continue moving on with my project.

Dispite all the challenges, I am so proud to have sisters like you who put smile on our faces, making sure of our wellbeing and that of the community, show and share love amongst one another and to crown it all being one another's keep.

More strength and blessings to us all.

May this year be a year were all our wishes will be granted.

Thanks to the world pulse change makers lab leaders for this program. Keep on.
