The moment it all started (part 1)

It all started that one-day. I thought I had gotten rid of him. I thought I was safe. I thought I was actually fine and not in danger anymore. And then it hit me! I had about a minute to think of what to do and do it now or I was going to get in so much trouble with him. Now I'm sure that you still don't know the \"him\" I was talking about, but you’ll know everything just in time. About my personal life, I have a younger brother, Luke, who’s going to turn 8 this Saturday. My mom has always been my role model and will always be. She died when I was 13, which is 3 years ago. She was a model and a fashion designer and she always told me that I was her little shining star and every year while I was growing up she would think of me as this star that would continue shining brighter and brighter every year. When I was 12, my mother got cancer and died a year later. My brother and I were going through a very rough time and I had to take care of him more than I take care of myself because he was just a kid and I was really worried about him. My best friends, Ashley and Alice, have always been there for my brother and me. They have both been my best friends for 5 years now and were just like a family now. And if u wondered why I haven’t talked about my father. Its cause I don’t have one. Well of course I have one but he has never been in my life. He left us when my mother was 5 months pregnant with me and my mother told me that he was just as useless if he was or wasn’t around. But I didn’t believe her, I needed my father, I needed a man in my life which I can run to when I was in trouble and cry on his shoulder. But that never happened so forget about my father. I don’t have one. Now enough about my personal life, you should probably know what happened that day when I was in danger! It all started that Thursday afternoon when Brent offered me a ride after school to drop me at my best friend's house Ashley. Brent was that charming 17-year-old guy which I had a crush on since 8th grade but never really admitted it. He had that dirty messed up blonde hair, grey eyes and he was a jock. Don’t underestimate me and think that I was a nerd or something like that! I actually wasn't. I was one of the most popular girls in school. My name is Amanda, I have long blonde hair, green eyes and as my girlfriends always told me, I had an amazing style in fashion. My driver, Eva, was supposed to pick me up that day but I had no idea were she was so I got in Brent’s car and thanked him for offering me a ride to Ashley’s house. It was awkward being in the car alone with him. Neither him nor I knew what to do or what to say so I just started talking to him about how he was and if there was anything new going on in his life. He told me that his parents travelled to London with his younger sister to go to a private hospital because she was very sick and that he is going to be alone for a whole month. I felt bad for him but bad for myself that I didn’t have any parents in the first place. After what he told me about his family we just sat in silence while he drove. 15 minutes later, we reached Ashley’s house. I was really nervous about being with him that I didn’t even know what to say so I just started babbling and I kept on thanking him for more than 5 times! He then noticed that I was nervous and very shy and suddenly held my hand and told me to calm down. I breathed deeply and thanked him again and left his car. He smiled then giggled and left. Moments after he left, I felt so stupid and noticed that I still wasn’t over him, and I probably still have that huge crush on him. I suddenly heard someone scream real loud! I was scared so I started running towards the mysterious sound. The sound came from the house across the street. As I reached the house, I felt the urge to just help whoever was in danger. I quickly opened the front door of their house and there they were, all of them…
