“The light house”

Every voice, every word, echoed; miles
The street, the house, my mind; empty…
A small hope rises with the sun
As dawns first ray of light falls on me
I feel close to where I want to be yet so far away.
It’s just me, alone at dawn in the wind… silence
These memories
Bright and dull, faint and clear
How void these memories feel
Water lazing, drifting, carrying me away
Far off to the light, the hope
Of you and me, together there, far off in the light house.
