Supporting girl businesses in Uganda with JW

This initiative was undertaken to build small businesses of teachers and workers who lost their job during the covid pandemic, or couldn't return to the workplace due to family issues. Remember these are all young women with children who were already in the workforce, had a vision of improving their life that was suddenly shut down.

So with my virtual sessions ,I had to start with building their psyche and know their needs, vision and liabilities. Then started the simpler work of training them with business plan, marketing plan. .I am proud enough to say that I never had an opportunity to put a red mark on a single word of their business plan either. Now to proceed with their business expansion, they need individual or group based funding which has been a major struggle. The reason why i am appealing to my WP community to guide me. The government has been non committal to say the least, and I can only give so much.

Look forward to your support to our collaboration. All work is been done with Storm in A TeaCup Foundation as the primary support system, a group that was reskilling women in Johannesburg during the pandemic.
