Solving GLOBAL PROBLEMS - Working together to Succeed

While listening to the WELCOME WEDENSDAY July 2023 MEASURING IMPACT event, it was really important to me to make this latest post about a WILSON CENTER event happening tomorrow, 1 August 2023. Last week, I was cleaning my office when I came upon 3 maps that I had stored in a corner for a few years (imagine a corner that had not been touched).

I had acquired the maps while working with the US Department of State (Conflict and Stabilization Operations Bureau, helping the Afghan government to reach out to its neighbors to discuss collaboration for development. The project was called the NEW SILK ROAD INITIATIVE. I'm looking at one of the maps with all the Districts in Afghanistan, and wonder how things have changed???

Moving forward to the present, tomorrow the Wilson Center will host a BOOK TALK: THE JOURNEY OF AN AFGHAN GIRL WHO RISKED EVERYTHING FOR EDUCATION.

I hope I can encourage World Pulse members from all of the Central Asian states to continue to come together to achieve the WORLD WE WANT...
