SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP MODULE 6

WHO CONSTITUTES MY STAKE HOLDER COMMUNITY ?

Stake holders are a group of people or an individual with an interest or concern to something especially a business . So nonprofit stake holders are referred to as a group or individual that is in a position to make a claim on an organizations attention impact or resources therefore I will refer to my stake holders ( nonprofit) as individuals or groups that have interest in my organization ( nonprofit ) , it is made of people who are directly involved such as beneficiaries , volunteers , board members , foundations that offer me grunts , congregants, association members , program directors , paid staff , volunteer board , donors and those who are indirectly involved like the local community and the media and broad communities and government . Stake holders are important because their role is to support the organization meet it's strategic objectives by contributing their experience and perspective to a project .

WHAT WOULD I LIKE FOR MY STAKE HOLDER COMMUNITY TO DO TOWARD MY ENTERPRISES?

Stake holders are essential to my ( nonprofit ) organization success because they support the overall movement of my organization in different ways . Stake holders are related to glue that strongly holds the organization together because they represent both the people who influence and are impacted by the organization , stake holders are an important part of mission fulfilment and main actors in overall success . For that matter , I affirm that the key or the short cut to a successful organization is proper and equitable management of stake holders , effectiveness , accountability and ethics are all core of concern with in any nonprofit organization and stake holders help to balance each . That's the reason behind knowing who ones stakeholders are and identify ways to flow with them to smoothen overall decision making and fuel long term success and stability .

Employees , these seem to be the most obvious stakeholders and they can be a powerful source in raising the success of the organization , I will ensure to make them feel empowered to raise ideas , nature relationships and make critical decisions when required . Members group also play a main stake in program results and outcomes . Volunteers , can be made of board members , groups and generous individual's who offer their time to the organizations cause at no cost . Beneficiaries is a group built up by those who are served by the organization ( my customers ) they can be subscribers who participate in regular scheduled available activities .

Donors and grunt givers , they are made up of individual donors , cooperate , charity givers , foundations and state or federal agencies that provide funding by keeping these stakeholders engaged insures a consistent inflow of funding . Local community , all organizations are part of the broader community one should endeavor to be part of the community by participating in community base available activities whilst supporting to cultivate community leaders . Stake holders are very important to an organization, they are an important part of mission fulfilment and main actors in an organization overall success , they help an organization meet it's strategic objectives by contributing their experience and perspective to a project.

HOW WILL I COMMUNICATE THIS TO THEM ?

Branding is the process of building or establishing a strong/ firm identify for ones social enterprises to be memorable among audiences , and it so happens that every businesses have identity of their own referred to as the brand which is not just a name or a logo but a combination of value , mission and action that specifies the organization , what it is associated with and what it stands for at times it also represents people it is involved with . Brand connects an immediate connection with the audience , they also include reputation and value systems with in the organization that the brand represents . So it makes more sense to establish ones social enterprises brand with the consideration of a unique name , a standout logo , a strong digital media foot print website and social media presence , a clear affirmation of the organizations mission , vision , values , aims and activities , a clear statement of the team , ensure that all members of the team speak the same language when it comes to articulating what the brand does and stands for , and the best way to do this is to establish and embody work place values for all members of the team to follow . The brand identify should be bigger than the team members , the brand should be more than just being associated with the founder . After establishing the brand it is vital to understand who will market the brand ? Who will tell about the brand and why ? What do you want them to do with the knowledge of your brand offerings? How can you communicate with them in ways that are welcoming and sustainable? Social enterprises audience compromise of a mix of these , those who may find your offering useful , those who may donate to fund your initiative , those who may collaborate with you , so therefore the brand should be typically directed to each stakeholder , one has to target audiences who can fund ones initiative the main goal is to make them see the impact one has and may have in the future , the call to action will involve asking them to contribute as for the potential collaborates the main goal is to make them see reason in working along with one and how their brand can benefit from the partnership .

I also plan to hold periodic meetings with stakeholder groups for instance community meetings, regular and annual meetings and training of staffs , volunteers . Communicate with my donors via email on social networking sites and through direct mailing by updating them to solicit donations . I also plan to provide a variety of ways for stakeholders to give input, make the feedback process effortless for your stakeholders when sending them updates about projects attach a survey for them to provide feedback , ask for feedback via social media and in person interaction . Presentations is also another way to communicate to stakeholders , presentations , project summary reports, communicating through story telling , fundraising events and more .
