Smile

Have you ever looked at yourself and asked; \"Who am I?\" \"What have I done that I will be remembered for?\"

I've done a lot of thinking about what I want to be remembered for. I want to leave my footprints behind in someone's life. You see, a candle loses nothing from lighting another candle. For me to be able to believe in myself right now, it took someone's effort and they told me to always smile. My smile stretches like a cloudless sky and it holds so much pain. Sometimes, I just want to breakdown but I look in the mirror and just smile. Someone out there feels better because I smiled at them.

What I am trying to say is, if you want to make a difference or help somebody, just do it. No matter what you're facing because there is happiness in helping others. There is peace.

As I celebrate my 18th birthday. I know that my journey of success has just began. I woke up feeling sad because my friends got selected to go to universities and I was like \" why not me? How come my family doesn't have money to send me to school? For how long do I need to stay at home?\" But then I remembered that God is not a man and He has a plan for me. People always say I've got a bright future and I just smiled to myself and started singing and dancing. I mean, its my birthday and God has added another year. I will keep smiling, no matter how I feel and this is what makes me unique and beautiful.

For everyone reading this, remember that what ever you are going through, it shall come to pass. Never forget to put a smile on your face and always have positive thoughts!
