<a>Pakistan conducts its diplomacy through traditional means, which is
quite an outdated form of diplomacy. In the current international system, a
country can never achieve its political and economic goals through traditional
diplomacy only, so Pakistan must ramp up its public diplomacy drive. Public
diplomacy is more convenient for pursuing foreign policy goals. Currently, the
concept is not very popular in Pakistan as it is a developing country and lacks
effective institutions to ensure diplomatic practices abroad through specific
audiences. Pakistan officials must consider the importance of public diplomacy
and upgrade their diplomatic repertoire.</a>
