#SheTransformsTech Elevator Pitch

I had my pitch on video ready and after the peer call today, I felt like you know, maybe edit that lol. Yet, I think this is a work in progress and the lessons from the call today would serve as more pointers to keep building on the elevator pitch. So here we are with what I said. In case you may not hear me well, I will type what I am saying below.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello, My name is Arrey-Echi. I am a Cameroonian living with sickle cell.
I have two dreams. The first is to see more people living with sickle cell get access to good and affordable medical care. The second is to one day build a hospital and research centre where more research would be carried out and good care be given to sickle cell warriors.
We have carried out free genotype screening, provide free routine medicine and financial support to warriors, support many towards the fight against COVID 19, organise educational workshops impacting over 500 warriors and others. We continue our advocacy through online and offline campaigns, more educational outreach and support programs, written articles on sickle cell.
The desire to break the silence, stigma, discrimination, misconceptions and to change the negative perceptions so many have towards people living with sickle cell is my greatest motivation and drive.
It often takes an individual to set the ball rolling but it takes a community to keep it going. As an individual, I can only do as much. With your support, I can reach many warriors across Cameroon, maybe Africa and why not, the world. Join me. Together, we can help warriors look beyond pain to discover purpose.
Thank you.
