I live in British Columbia Canada which is seen as a civilsed place to visit and live
There are things going on here that people who see the tourist brochures would not be aware of.
The government has no money, it gets all its money from working class people etc and businesses to take care of any programs etc administered by provincial and federal government.
British Columbia is highly taxed province as is most of Canada yet the funds don't make it to the programs or are usurped in other ways.
There are programs to support and help seniors and disabled which are well funded but are not being administered and are being mismanaged.
A number of complaints were registered to public officials by seniors, disabled their doctors and others to no avail.
Today a hospital social worker who has been my support worker was told to stand down and not help me anymore. She apologized for this and said what a delight it has been to work with me all these years.
The reason is I and others filed a complaint against the manager of north island home care for seniors and disabled for being in non compliant and fraud and time theft
So they retaliated by cutting off all services and abandoning a 73 year old disabled seniors with life threatening medical issues.
We are collateral damage and this is blatant disregard for the life of anyone
Also no apparent accountability or transparency as well as the liability involved
This is the first step towards fascism
