See how recovery is possible? Update on my own sister

#sisterloveforever
Hello world,
I want to update us all on the recovery of my sister who was admitted into a Psychiatric ward on the 20th of January this year. I shared in as part of this initiative because it was a very personal lived experience and I knew it would resonate more than any google stats.
My sister spent a week at the hospital, came out and two days later moved in with me. She gradually started regaining confidence in herself and cooperated in our therapy sessions.
Let me share some wins:
1) She agreed to and cut her own nails;
2) She had her hair done;
3) She cooked for us all;
4) She takes her meds on time and following prescriptions;
5) She is very communicative and even though we seem like generations apart (she finds me too worldly hahahahaha)...we do get along pretty well and dance together. She also workout some
My sister is a very grateful soul and am committed to doing all I can. She had been out for her own errands and is very alert now.
I am so grateful for all.
Don't give up on yourself or your loved ones
