Security App

It is said that: \"You don't necessarily need an atomic bomb to destroy a nation. Politicians who value their pockets than the life of citizens always do that every day\".

So it is that today my country is ranked the third most violent country in the world to live in   How did we get here? With massive human and natural resources  enough to make us one of the worlds best but on a rutherless journey due to bad leadership, religious and ethnicity conflicts my beloved country is bleeding to death  on  bended knees .

It started with some disgruntled and neglected set of young people who later metamorphosed into an Islamic terrorist  group who went about bombing and killing Christians, then they graduated into bombing randomly , kidnapping nunerous number of young school girls intermittently. Today has grown into territory -graping terrorist group

There is also the bandits, who specialize in kidnapping for ransome and killing of innocent travellers.

Currently almost a hundred tertiary institution students are in their custody as the governor delays in granting their huge ransome request they have killed five of these young minds whose only sin was to seek higher education in their father's land

My country is bleeding ,bleeding to death with each passing day

The count is endless. The nepotic stance of our leader keeps emboldening his people who are in the majority of the sect setting the country ablaze  .They have chosen to value the lives of cows more than that of humans. The farmers labour through the farming season only for cows to be taken to graze on the  farms . And any resistance could lead to being maimed or killed.

Today,it is almost impossible to travel safely from one part of the country to another due to high level of insecurity. As there is a very high chance of being kidnapped for ransome

Me, together with my girls and our technical advisor  Basudha Modak a World Pulse sister have developed a Traveler's App to help in sending out signals in time of distress while in transit. It was my teams submission for the 2021 Technovation  Girls Contest.

It is hoped that this app will help tracking in times of trouble and also setting a loved oñe's mind at rest as one sets out on a journey within Nigeria

We seek  funding or and partnership to mass produce this app as Nigeria passes through this dark hours of insecurity in her life.

\"The man dies who keeps silent in the face of oppression\" .

I can't keep quiet , not now not ever .
