SAy No To CHILD EARLY FORCED MARRIGES

A Ccording to Malawi the Childjustice Act (1) Section 81(a)\" No person shall force a child into marriage or force a child to be betrothed\".

Achild is someone who is below 18 years of age (Malawi) Children are too young to get married,much more too young to be forced to commit to marriage.

This behaviour is quite common in rural settings due to the high level of poverty unlike in urban areas where such actions have few statistics figures.

it is believed that many parents force their girl child into marriage as she acts as a source of Fortune to their family hence making these cases be on a rise,.What hurts me most it is girls who are forced to early marriages unlike boys.

At a young age children are believed not to mature psychologically that they cannot be able to make concrete decisions,physically their bodies are not mature enough to give birth,economically they cannot raise enough money because they do not own stable jobs.

It is a duty and responsibility of a parent to send their children to school.HER\" Right to education\" needs to be exercised not to early marriages.

forced early marriages is a never ending rape,it usually occurs to young girls who are still pursuing their careers for them to be independent.

Every girl dreams of achieving their  ambitions where some want to be journalists,nurses,lawyers,designers, teachers,engineers and social workers just like IAM.

Let us make sure we Civic educate parents on the dangers of forced early marriages , we must remain committed to this until we see this coming to an end ,if you are facing this wherever you are sisters please do not hesitate to report,you are not hating your parents your doing yourself good from escaping all the danger that would sorround you if you are trapped in  a cave.

To the survivors IAM so happy I define you as strong ,powerful ,special, brave ,extraordinary and beautiful  for making such a courageous choice to speak out

To the changemakers the battle is not over but hey congratulations you are changing lives.

To those still in pain you will heal soon ,you are not alone ,we are by your side to help and cherish you.
