Pregnant woman frequently have the calcium deficiency due to that babies are more prone for the diseases and these babies had to face many problems. To avoid this problem, pregnant women should take adequate amount of calcium. In addition to it the pregnant lady should not eat papaya and chiku because they can increase the possibility of miscarriage these views were given by Dr. Sujata Sanjay, Obstetrician and Gynecologist Sanjay Maternity Centre.
Dr.Sujata sanjay expressed that every lady desire to have mother wood at the same time every mother desire that see should not have any problem during pregnancy. For that woman should be awe about problems faced in pregnancy. She has told that this awareness can brighten the baby’s future. She has emphasized that pregnant lady should take balanced diet. Diet should contain green leafe vegetables and fruits in addition to cereal etc; they should not take any food which induces nausea and vomiting. She has told that lake of calcium in pregnant lady causes osteomalacia which also effect new born baby health. Calcium deficiency can produce pelvic bone deformity which hinder in normal delievery and mother is bound to have the cesarean operation. Pregnant lady should not do up and down staires and should avoid lifting heavy weights. They should prefer not to travel. Unnecessary pregnant lady should avoid mobile telephone use because mobile phone produces certain rays which effect foetus health.
Dr. Sujata Sanjay told the basic of labour and birth. It’s not only birth of a child but also the new life for the female on her journey as a mother. She also told the Do’s and Don'ts of what a female should keep in mind while undergoing pregnancy and normal labour. She also informed the difficulties encountered while undergoing pregnancy.
Dr. Sujata Sanjay in her lecture talked about the different techniques and stages of labour. They vary from the old traditional ways to the newer developed techniques. It is also very important to get your pregnancy monitored under a qualified doctor so that regular check-ups can be made to see if the pregnancy is progressing properly. It is a commonly seen that many pregnant females don't get registered for ante-natal checkups due to social and financial restrictions.
Dr. Sujata Sanjay has told that conception in ladies his became difficult and incidence of infertility is increasing day by day in child warring ages. If the lady became pregnant then the chance of miscarriage are quite common in these ladies. This is becoming a social problem because of lifestyle change and busy schedule, women’s are not aware about the common precaution which has to be taken during pregnancy and sometime these ignorance causes lots of difficulties to these women she has suggested that pregnant ladies should discus all kind of doubt and problems and these ladies should not hide any problems which are experienced by these pregnant ladies show that treating doctor take right decision if problem arises.
The patient should take food material which is rich in calcium like milk and milk product and green vegetables like a spinach, cauliflower, fresh fruit like orange, Dry Fruits like Almond and figs vegetables like watercress and okra etc. Those who are non-vegetarian should take egg and fish on regular in fish particularly sardine these above mention food material rich in calcium.

Infant mortality rate is 40 per 1000 live births in Uttarakhand and this makes Uttarakhand stand at 18th position among 29 states in India as told by Dr. Sujata. To decrease this the co- ordination of patients, doctors and nurses is also very important.
Dr. Sujata Sanjay has also been involved in Beti Bachao, Betii Padhao Abhiyaan which has been a programme of the Govt. of India. In her speech she stressed that the general public needs to change its mindset too decrease the incidence of sex determination as well as decrease female foeticide. Uttarakhand has a sex ratio of 888 female per 1000 male child as per data of 2015-2016. We must save the girl child and be determined to stand up for this cause. The females of India are bringing laurels to our nation. We have had many examples in the recent past with P. V. Sindhu, Sakshi Malik and Deepa Karmakar at the recently concluded Rio Olympics.
