Rescue Her

Mabel 29 years old with 2 kids and living with their dad. Ran into the congregation where I fellowship to seek help from the church due to series of bad experiences she has been having with her kids dad.

when the mic was handed over to her to speak out she busted into tears , shivering and unable to speak. It was hurtful to see her little babies walk up to the front and pamper her to stop crying. They probably must have been so sad seeing their mom cry every day

when Mabel was calm she started talking and said she is in danger.her kids dad threatened to cut her fingers off if she didn’t bring him all the money she invested in a small financial investment company since she was doing a petty trade just arou where they live.

He has been fun of collecting all her profits from her business and so this time she decided to go and start saving the money in a financial house He couldn’t fine money anywhere and started threatening her so she told him she has kept the money some to invest more on her business. That night he gave her no peace and got her well beaten and threw the kids at her. She was sent out of the house to only come back if she has the money. She had to spend the night in an uncompleted building near by. This got her scared since she wasn’t safe and the kids would cry at night saying they feel cold. She managed that night and came running to Church that morning in tears seeking for help.

i sad there the whole time in great anger waiting for the service to close so I would talk to her.

when we closed I immediately walked up to her and spoke to her to consider taking legal measures for her safety. Willingly she accepted and as we speak her caller is in the hands of the legal authorities and she has been placed in a safe space by one of the humanitarian organisations I referred her to around. She is fine and the husband will be meeting with her on the 13th of this month together with the legal authorities to see into her case
