Birthed in Southwestern Nigeria, BtM is an acronym for "Boys to Men." The Klubb outlines the SMART impact goals, providing a cutting-edge approach to capturing attention and promoting positive change as follows:
S: Improve Emotional Intelligence - Implement a comprehensive curriculum that equips boys with the skills and knowledge to effectively understand and manage their emotions. By the end of the program, participants should demonstrate enhanced emotional intelligence, fostering healthier relationships with themselves and others.
M: Foster Gender Balance- Promote and cultivate a culture of gender equality, challenging traditional stereotypes and promoting mutual respect between men and women. Measure progress by conducting pre- and post-program surveys to assess participants' understanding and commitment to gender equality principles.
A: Develop Healthy Communication Skills - Facilitate workshops and activities focused on effective communication, active listening, and empathy building. Participants should acquire the ability to express themselves authentically and respectfully, actively listen to others, and understand diverse perspectives.
R: Cultivate Respectful Relationships - Encourage the development of healthy, respectful, and consensual relationships among boys and girls.
