Online freedom

Others and spam messages on facebook and other platforms are major side of annoying messages at least here in Egypt for me, many people and friends that i know.

Messages can be normal like: hi, but many times i receive sexual annoying messages, more of these messages can be on tiktok, snapchat, instagram and twitter.

I have the right to use these platforms like anyone just like wearing what i want to wear and don't get harrassed!!!

i don't believe that when you avoid public sharing you won't get harrased or harmful content because that was just the opposite of what has been happening.

Being a female in any online or offline society makes you vulnerable for more of such hateful messages.

My accounts were private, but since i received such messages i have started not to care if they are private or public accounts because it is the same.

I only care about my preferences because it affects the content that appears to me.

My mother used to follow accidents' news and now she has more and more of such contents that its started to be annoying to her.

All of the previously mentioned issues are nothing compared to the fake accounts which target your money.

I received many messages some of them was like invest your money!! Others were sending links to hack your phone!

Is sharing public contents or private contents really matter ?

From my point of view, no it doesn't, they just send to all accounts to hack and steal money.

I dont share or even upload important information which can cause me harm.

The main point is that the platforms don't really block such users!!

We can have the knowledge not to click on links that we don't trust, not to respond to strange messages, and that doesn't mean that abusers have the right to abuse or harrass us!
