In the recent weeks Kenya has been treated to bizarre incidences of a religious sect that makes followers to starve to death. The leader, Mackenzie is now in custody for acts of inhuman scale. Today marks a total of 73 bodies exhumed by the Kenya Police at Shakahola Forest.&nbsp;

Surprisingly the religious sect has been in operation since 2003. It was flagged off in 2017 where Mackenzie was in custody and released on a bond of Kshs. 10,000 by the court.

Women and children are the majority who are affected. Children are prohibited from going to school, members are prohibited from going to hospital and they are prohibited from taking government policies such as Huduma numbers.
