  1. What does World Pulse/Pulsewire mean to you?

It means Oneness. It means that all women (and men) are really One under the sun no matter our skin color, our language or our culture. It means I have a happy, loving and educational way to communicate with my sisters (and brothers) around the world. It provides an easy and enjoyable way to always be teacher AND student AND friend AND, in one case, even mother. What more can one ask for? I love reading everyone's different perspectives, issues and opinions. I enjoy discussing topics and issues of concern. I greatly support all those working hard to make this insane world a better place for women. I join groups for great reading material, personal connection and important support of immediate causes. I can sit here in my pajamas each morning and hug people anywhere and everywhere. World Pulse is a phenomenal gift to all of us for which I am immensely grateful each and every day.

  1. What brought you to World Pulse?

The Oprah Show. I do not know the lovely lady; however, this is the second time in my Human Rights endeavors that she has unknowingly been of immense assistance to me. Briefly, the first time, she had a few women from various countries on her show. Coming in from the work I was doing then, I tuned in to catch a name of an organization that caught my attention. On the computer I pulled up a different non-profit here with that same name. Turns out they were located just south of where my parents lived. I had tickets to see my parents the next week. When I went to meet the NGO lady she had me met by a lovely, young woman from Karachi, Pakistan. This charming lady hooked me up -computer wise- with several NGO's and individuals there. That began a wonderful 10 plus year working relationship not only in Pakistan but also other countries in South Asia.
.
The Second time, I had mostly, although not entirely, put my business on hold to take care of my mother for over three years. When she moved to a facility and I desired to delve into my business again, I, once more, tuned in to The Oprah Show and she had Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn talking about there international adventures. \"Half the Sky\" was their book and I bought it. In the back under \"Four Steps You Can Take in the Next Ten Minutes\" I found World Pulse.

What has been my experience? Nothing short of amazing. I am humbled each and everyday by the show of support, love and friendship. To be a World Pulse Ambassador would be a huge honor of great joy. And I promise I won't wear my pajamas.
