Satan has been on the prowl for making Christians stumble and fall. Every pressure you feel from the culture to sin against God is an opportunity that Satan wants to use to trip you up.
As hard as it is to stand up against peer pressure, we must remember the big picture. Being “cool” in this world is not our goal. Our goal is to serve God and honor Him with our lives. Our highest priority should be to please God more than please anyone else…even if that means becoming the laughingstock.
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is His good, pleasing, and perfect will.”
Be the woman who stands up and says, “No, I’m not going to do that.” Be the woman that younger girls can look up to and see your godly example. Titus 2:4–8
