Positive Masculinity and Self worth in Kids

This photo represents the woman who aspires to be her children's happiness

Recently I just welcomed my second child, a son and it has made me become very weary of what society will want to teach him. My daughter on the other hand, she's easier for me to teach her self confidence and she knows that. She knows that when mommy says it, it's true and besides her discovering her own self worth, I would prefer she comes to mommy and validate if what they are saying about her is true, so she knows to grow up without listening to what society tells her she should be or look like. I want to teach my son the same thing, I want to raise a soft young man and not a boy who thinks being tough is the only way to be taken seriously. I've been given a prince and a princess to raise and that's the only thing I want to make sure I don't fumble with, even though you can never get parenting perfect but I want my kids to be able to say "I am this way because my mom did it the best way she knew how". I want to keep them away from society and it's stigmas.
