Poem for Women

Shooting for the stars
Being shot at in cars
Striving to go so far
Being stuck in sticky tar

A women isn't held back
Despite all the flack
She will never rest
Until she's reached her best

Praying the devil back to hell
Sharing many stories to tell
Winning the prize named Nobel
Ending landmines others would sell

She achieves and she dreams
Shining bright as a sun beams
She ignites a sisterhood of teams
Ever forward she leans
Into history writing reams and reams
Equality! Equity! Respect!
These rights are what she has deemed

  • Leadership
  • Girl Power
  • Education
  • First Story
  • Northern America
