We are passionate about the Social and economic welfare of women and children.

I claimed the idea to create and serve in a village, many villages if need be. The visualization for this sent me back to that spot in Africa. A idea is a single thought. The dream came true when I met my beloved late husband King Shaykh Imam Assane Cisse (RTA) on a tour visiting in Washington DC, whom invited me to that particular spot that I had a curious intuition to visit since I was a child. That spot is a country named Senegal which happens to be my ancestral country on my mother side of the family, oh wow!

I took to the invitation to visit Senegal in 2004 and the doors were opening for me to pursue the dreams to work, serve and labor in Senegal. Not one village but several throughout the years to date. In the pursuit of my journey I had to find, research, create ways to finance my work of giving, aiding others while not neglecting myself and family after my husband passing. I would read about philanthropists whom had charities the world over. What they all had in common was they were very financially wealthy by inheritance, occupation or whatever. I was not born into any such wealth but continue today to create ideas to be involved in which are my hobby ventures that have a interest to human survival while learning, growing and pursuing more pursuits to engage in. What I have learned in my journey and what I know for sure is that Philanthropy starts with a wealthy spirit. A spirit of charitable giving aiding others whom will benefit from the services you are passionate about. One does not need to own a huge bank account, inherit a fortune or be wealthy from and occupation you have been involved in for years. Sure it helps but there’s always more above and beneath the surface as I call it.

Being involved in community service is a immense pleasure and nothing can bring more joy to our hearts than seeing the happiness in the eyes of those you serve. I define Philanthropy as giving to others out of love, your kindness and compassion. One may be a organizer, counselor, manager, data collector, coordinator, evaluator, the list goes on. Public service is the heart of community philanthropy.
