OUR ANCESTORS ARE GUIDING OUR FOOTSTEPS

I have a desire list, and a wish was fulfilled three years ago. I left my town on my birthday 15th of September 2019, and came to live in an unknown village. I didn't know why I took this big step; it was unusual. 

It was during a period of my life that I felt stuck and not enough. It was frightening, but I needed to follow through. Then, finally, someone guided me to do it. So I sold my furniture, even my car, and I didn't know why I had done it. But, of course, I also didn't question why. 

I just followed my heart that told me to do it. So I bought a new car and came to live in a new place, in a new flat, and by surprise, a pool was in the backyard, and that's when I remembered I wrote on my desire list that I wanted to live in a home with a pool and by my surprise, it had a heart shape. The heart shape is a message of love from my ancestors. So I wake up each morning, face my heart shape pool, and feel so much love. So my wish has been fulfilled. 

I don't own this flat, but I rent it, but I didn't specify on my list that I wanted to own one, so the universe delivered my wish according to what I had written. But nevertheless, I consider it to be my home, and home is where my heart is. So even if I rent it, it is still my favorite place to call my home. 

During my stay, I found out that my great-great-great-great-grandmother used to live here in this village and married my great-great-great-great grandfather, four generations before me, so I got to find out about my family tree that nobody told me. 

So that was a big surprise for me to find out. I met relatives I never knew, and they were happy to meet me and share stories about our family tree. I feel so peaceful in this new place because it's the land where my ancestors lived and raised their children, and their children grew their own. 

This is the village my ancestors worked so hard in fields growing their crops. This is the land they walked, and they wanted me to be here for a reason: to learn about the family history, why things happened in their lives, what I have inherited, and because I needed to heal since I had collected the wound of my ancestors. I needed to heal my wound so the generation after me would not receive this wound. So I cut the cords of this generational trauma haunting my family history tree for many generations before me. 

What happened in my family tree? This is what happened. Whoever didn't follow family tradition was thrown out of the family and left alone without money to live, no will, no inheritance from the family, and no support. This also happened to me when I decided to escape my abusive parents and my abusive marriage. My family went against me and even brainwashed my children. I write this story with the hope that one day, my children or grandchildren will read it and understand what happened in my life. Our family history generational trauma is: anyone in the family that went against tradition was kicked off. This is the secret of our family history. I am carrying the wound, also. Maybe you are too? If you are, it's time to heal and move on. 

My ancestors guided me to come here to this village because it was the right place to heal my inner child and inner teenager, find meaning in my life again, reach wholeness, and become the true authentic self I love so much. 

Also, to find out about my ancestors who lived before me. I returned to my roots; I came back to me without having a clue about it. But my heart knew the way even if I didn't. 

Our ancestors are guiding our footsteps each and every moment of our lives. We just have to listen and follow our hearts, even if it's scary or new. They want to help us heal the wounds that we have collected. So, just listen to your heart; it knows the way.
