Born in South-Africa as a multi-dimensional woman with a low self-worth, it took me a lifetime to truly find myself. In retrospect, for most of my lifetime I was not even looking to find myself, so how can you find something if you not even looking? I was merely surviving. Unauthentically.
I was that woman who on the outside had it all together, confidently, but on the inside trembled every time she had to open her mouth in the boardroom. I had no real confidence, and typical to someone with a low self-esteem acted out people-pleasing, co-dependance, and perfectionism, to name a few.
My colorful career and equal colorful history of relationships is proof of how disconnected I was to my true self, lost.
I was a single mom for most of my kids' lives, struggling to survive financially, and was fairly burnt out and feeling hopeless by the time I met my second husband, which turned out to be the straw that broke the camel's back.
At the age of 51 I left the toxic relationship, broken, burnt out, and a royal mess. I knew things had to change, and they did.
I finally took the time to get to know myself, accept myself warts and all, forgive myself, and learned to love myself. I realized that the only way to serve others with love and authenticity was to serve myself first and foremost. I found my purpose is to teach, guide, and serve others, however this time from a healthy basis of self-love and authenticity. So, I made it my life's mission to guide and coach women to find what I found - peace, happiness and freedom, by connecting with their true selves, by rediscovering their values and finding their purpose.
The moment you align your life-decisions to your values and purpose, life becomes easy.
There is always a way out, and we all have the power inside of us to live an amazingly abundant life in all aspects.
