Obama and his Nobel Peace Prize

I am very glad he won it but do agree that there is much work to do yet. What I see it as is not Obama himself winning it but us as a country! We pulled together in such a way that it rivals the civil war but without bloodshed but through democracy and diplomacy. What we should believe is just what he has said from the beginning: that it is not his power to bring about change but ours!

He has been amazing though not perfect, but then he is a man not a supreme being so what else so we expect?! I am very glad he won it and hope it spurs him on to even greater diplomatic and peace efforts and I hope that as a country we continue to pull together to bring about true and lasting changes.

I hope it fans the flames of renewal and change that helped turn the tide in this country and keeps the momentum going.

Congratulations to him for winning it and now I hope he works ever harder to continue the process started.
