New Year Resolution

Nowadays, especially on social media I see posts about New Year Resolutions. People are making plans for 2018. I can feel that they are very energetic and enthusiastic about the upcoming year and it is very good as well. Now God knows better, whether they are going to follow their own plans or not In many posts, I came across that people talked about how they are going to manage their time for the rest of 12 months and they seems so concerned about it and they should be. I mean it is wonderful, if you are going to manage your time properly all your important works will be on time. But can we all just pause for a while and think for a moment that in the time management list, what are the things we are going to add up? The answer seems quite easy. Most of us will give most of our time to our studies. Some of us will give 4 hours to improve our writing skills, others will allocated another 4 hours for reading books. Those students who are working on their senior thesis, they will give most of their time to bring improvement in their thesis and those who are planning to apply for graduates schools will be concerned about GRE practice, IELTS exams and purpose of statements. Those of us who are doing job, they may think how to improve their performances. This is how I guess many of us came up with our New Year Resolutions. These all are very much important and I am not criticizing anyone but all I am saying is that where are the allocated hours for those people in our lives, who have been with us and playing a major role for what we all are today. How many of us had ever thought to put their name in first category in the list for 2018? I guess and I am sure very few of us. Those people are always there for us, no matter we are there for them or not. Their love is pure and unconditional and It's true whether you believe it or not. These people I call \" our beloved parents \". Trust me it is very sad that we all are so into technology that we forget our responsibilities. We think that once I secure a job, I will take over my responsibility. Yes that's true but before that too we have some sort of responsibilities. It is our foremost responsibility to give time to our parents. To call them, if not always at least once or twice a week. To ask them how they are doing. Our parents doesn't need anything else from us. All they want is our love, care and time and I think they all deserve it, as they spend their whole lives looking after us. Our parents taught us about life experiences which we cannot learn from Facebook, whats app or any other social media site.
Now if you have already made your New Year Resolution have a look and If you missed your parents name put a colon and write : People who needs most of my love ( My parents)

Happy Christmas to people all over the world and especially to my Christian friends
