David Bohl of Slow Down Fast shared some great insight this evening that is worth repeating. If you don't have time to listen to the show, here are some red flags to look for that indicate you might be going too fast:
a. No time for personal life
b. Overburdened at work
c. Headaches, trouble getting up in the morning, etc.
We all know that we cannot recapture those lost moments. Wanting to live every day to the fullest is what inspires David, a former 100-hour-a-week venture capitalist, to slow down and enjoy life. How can you accomplish this, too? Check out David's STALL method:
Stop - Start by giving yourself permission to stop for a moment. Not just slow down, but stop long enough to figure out what you want!
Think - What do you value?
Act - Take charge of your life.
Liberate - Get rid of people and things that aren't worth your time and energy.
Live - Every day!
Too busy, bored or unsatisfied is no way to live. Once you've determined what it is, exactly, that you want, begin working toward it by asking \"what can I do today?\" In fact, I suggest beginning each day with that question.
