My story from hell

Let me tell you...I am a child who grew up in abuse. I was very young when my father started beating my mother. In the night I woke up screaming. I could hear every blow. I stood on the stairs and silently prayed that this horror would stop. The next day my father brought flowers to my mother and apologized. And this happened almost every week... Until my sister was born. Then the beating spread to me. My mother started beating me every time I do mistakes or childish things. He would take off his slippers and hit me on the head. I raised my hands to protect myself, but blows rained down on my fingers. I almost always walked with injured hands... I grew up, but the quarrels did not stop - it was a small hell at home - because of grades at school, because of a broken glass, because of a torn garment.
