MY STORY

I am nnenna hannah metu,a mass communication graduate from Nigeria, an Eduation Counsellor and Creative Jewelry Designer ,i am the 3rd in the family of eight,i grew up with my parents, with my mother fending for the family, due to the fact that my father lost his job.
my mother as an african woman was the pillar to me being what i am today, she empowered her self with her resturant business to feed her family.
As a university undergraduate in 2004,i was denied good grade due to sexual demands by my lecturals, (they will say if you dont give us sex,you will not graduate),i went through this humaniliation until i graduated.
The university community in nigeria where i come from, is plague with all manner of sexual assult on student yet the school authority sees and fails to acknowlegde it.So many student are victimised to sale their body to get good grade and yet the society is silent about it.

Women are victimised on daily basics by the minute, sexually assalted, rape, and maltreated, yet nobody sees any thing wrong with it.
i have held to this secret for so long, but with world pulse,i can speak out my pain knowing i have wonderful sisters out their willing and ready to hold my hand and console me with world of encouragement even in my darkess moment, i say this because i have been rape once, but the society i come from will blame you for being raped, you will be victimised instead of being the victim.

As i pour out my heart in 2012,i have pledge to fight for women victimised, rape and assaulted
