My Partnership with Liluye

story
When I wrote my first story on World Pulse
https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/regina-afanwi/posts/94173 I received such beautiful comments. I was so excited to be able to network with such amazing women. But then I thought it was not all about posting stories. I began following some members on social media to know more about their work. Jill's organization Liluye where she is founder/ CEO, was one of the pages I liked and followed up closely. Surprisingly after a while she asked if I was interested in her organisation. It took me about a month to respond because then I was more focused on working with persons with disabilities. As time went on I realised I had gotten involved in working with Vulnerable persons especially in my neighborhood. It was time to include trafficking survivors to my work. I wrote back to Jill telling her I could work with her. I was super excited when she added my Logo to Liluye's site. I felt extremely humbled how much she believed in me and my work. As time went on I launched a fundraiser on covid19 kits with the advice of Karen and help of Jill https://www.gofundme.com/f/appeal-for-covid19-kits-for-the-vulnerable?ut... It healed some fruits and I felt these women and girls could benefit also. Jill linked me up to one of her partners in Bamenda, Fanwi of Mercy seed out reach who is also a world Pulse sister working with trafficking survivors. After a couple of meetings with Fanwi We carried out an activity during which my organisation Association for the empowerment of the deaf and Vulnerable Persons supported by Mercy seed outreach gave out 8 covid19 kits and hygienic kits to 8 girls who were trafficking survivors. Presentations were also done on gender based violence and menstral hygiene. https://www.facebook.com/232655917121461/posts/1309815446072164/?app=fb.

I want to thank you all my world Pulse sisters for motivating me and making me see value in my work through all the wonderful comments you have been making on my posts.
Thank you so much Jill for coaching, supporting me and above all for believing in my work. I promise total commitment to this partnership with Liluye. Together we can impact more Vulnerable women and girls.
