My New Year Wish for You



Art therapy

In 2022 l, personally experienced how calming indulging in any form of art can be. Whether it is drawing a simple pencil sketch or making diy crafts out of waste or writing (I love writing poems and have published my first book 'The Cheer Collection' this year :), available on Amazon, Kindle, Google play). 

It follows the principle of Flow, where one does not feel the pressure of time, the whole focus is entirely on the task at hand and the result is the inner joy . Practicing any form of art helps getting into the Flow mode easily.  And hence it is also helpful in managing stress and anxiety.

This New Year I really wish for you to practice any form of art to discover your place of calm! 

Dance, painting, paper crafts, music, learning a musical instrument, sketching, writing, clay modeling just about anything that appeals to your liking.

It can have therapeutic effects with positive impact on the neurotransmitters or feel good hormones. And hence it is also a rather constructive way of destressing or keeping a check on low moods which can cause anxiety.
