My life with Worldpulse: A Miracle

It’s a funny story how I joined Worldpulse!. One day I forgot to logout my account in Peace and Collaborative Development Network and someone posted a response to one of the discussions using my username.

Here comes Jade Frank telling me she posted my response in my journal at Worldpulse and I can use it a link she gave me. At first I was so confused and was wondering who did this and what Jade meant when she said “I posted it in your journal”. I signed up and had a quick look at it but it wasn’t with me the same as the other social networks. There was that desire that persuaded me to keep checking the web to see if I had a new message from Worldpulse. It became my passion to log in daily and interact with other sisters.

All I can say is that it was my “destiny” to be part of this wonderful family. You will never know what God has in store for you. though I don’t know that person but I always thank him/her for what they did because if it wasn’t that response I wouldn’t have been here neither would I have discovered this amazing platform. Sometimes I convince myself maybe it was an angle God sent it to me.

Pulsewire sisters advised me to check out the groups and join the ones I like. When I saw VOF at first I didn’t know whether to apply or not, but then I convinced myself maybe this is a good idea to learn from other sisters and I applied.

Ever since I joined Worldpulse my life has changes. Here in Worldpulse you can get people whom you share the same vision and you exchange ideas, experiences and build strong bonds. It feels like you are a member of a big family. Becoming a Voices of Our Future correspondent transformed my life. I started interacting with members in my community both prominent figures, government officials and ordinary citizens.

I discovered my strengths and capabilities. Hopefully am planning to attend the Bologna Symposium in Italy for conflict prevention, resolution and reconstruction. Am also hoping to join the One Young World 2011 summit and also planning to host my first training workshop all alone in the coming weeks.

Worldpulse was miracle which opened many other opportunities.
