My Journey

There has always been a part of me that wanted to write. It was something that i have always known but somehow and somewhere the other voices must have been louder that the writer in me was drowned somewhere between the debits and credits of my career as an accountant. Slowly but surely and as i grew older i realised that the inner writter in me was screaming to be set free, it was so loud that i could not even ignore it and it was as though someone or something was haunting me because i had all these thoughts and ideas that needed to be put down.Web 2.0 has given me the voice that i never thought that i had. it has opened for me doors that in all my life and at my age i thought were long closed. the thing that most exites me is the fact that i dont need to conform to certain styles of writting nor am i limited to the topics i want to write about, i can just simply open my own blog and write.
Web 2.0 has given women a voice to be able to share in their experiences and get feed back from other women and they dont need to be in the same room. It has created a whole global community that women are able to take advantage of and some can even be able to get help on topics they cannot openly discuss as you can be anonymous.
it has helped me realise that i am not alone in a lot of situations that i find myself in. i dont have to be afraid to share my view for fear that no one will want to publish my work as i have a whole readership available at my fingertips and it comes with instant feed back that can help me inmprove on my articles and hopefully one day i will be able to give back to this worthy cause.
