My heroes

When i talk about heroes,it stirs me deep down.Because all around me,i see women struggling to live productive lives and raise families. In Kenya, the poor women are faced with numerous challenges, financial, intellectual and societal prejudices.Just seeing them struggle to be part of these societies and leave positive prints on them makes them my heroes.
They might not live to be accepted as decision makers in their homes and communities, but that does not make them stop making right decisions for their families, they may be treated like their husbands' possessions yet they make dutiful wives.Societies regard children as their fathers' heritage, yet women are raising these children with love.
They may not access proper financial support, yet they are struggling to be financially relevant.
My Heroes are the poor, uneducated women in Kenya who despite the odds, are very resilient and are playing their roles with pride and love.
