My greatest dream

My graduation day

I grew up in a family of six and my father was not in any form of employment to take me to school but I had the passion and enthusiasm for school. I was sponsored by catholic sisters who helped me out all through my journey until college.i was very intelligent and passed to go to the University of Zambia where I had applied for government sponsorship and I was granted 100 . I pursued a bachelor degree in social work because of my background and I wanted to be a voice for those that were vulnerable and possibly link them to organizations that support girl education. My dream is to see every girl in my community get the best education and help. In Zambia a woman is meant for the kitchen while boys are left to pursue their dreams . This makes me bitter every day and so am planning on setting up a project called RISE UP project which seeks to educate girl children through sponsorship of tuition fees and making them realise their full potential . We live in a stereotyped world where women and girls are less privileged and looked down upon .
