My Frontline Story Angle

I have been thinking and thinking and thinking about a possible frontline angle and title.
I do not even know where to start from at the moment. When the assignment was first posted, I thought it should be simple. I thought wrong.
This is what is on my mind right now and I want to share with you all for feedbacks-suggestions, corrections and guidance! as I put down thoughts about my Frontline Story.

I work more with children and young people from different backgrounds and communities.
I have come into contact with many girls, boys and young women through my work who desire to go to school but do no have the means to. I have seen many lives marked by poverty in both rural and urban communities. I know many young lives whose dreams are threatened by poverty and lack of education. I have listened to few old lives’ stories whose dreams have been marred as well by the same factors.

I have a dream of helping young men and women from poor background to get quality education and be economically independent. I want to help people full lives and be who they want to become.
I have seen how poverty can sting one’s soul; steal one’s, joy, pursue one’s peace and threatened one’s dreams…

My focus

I thought of writing about growing up in a humble home, living in a deprived community, raised by a single parent and daring to dream amidst all that.

I want to focus on sharing how these experiences
-Challenged me to wake up and take responsibility for my future and life and the lives of others
-Have threatened my dreams
-Helped me to curve a vision; to “see a world where women are assertive and economically independent through quality education”.
-Motivate me to take action to help needy children go to school, to mentor, coach and encourage young people from depriving/young backgrounds to take responsibility for their future and hold on to their dreams trusting God for help and support.

My challenge is unearthing buried pains, tears and scars as I begin my journey of writing the chapters of my life story.

I need feedbacks as I am not sure whether I am on the right track or not.
