My first Volunteering Experience!

During my college days, I always admired photos of young people volunteering for noble causes in different states across my country.

Each story or social media post I read left me with an increased desire to be part of such selfless service, but I never got an opportunity to do so.

( Most of the organisations I saw were in states very far from my region.)

Fast forward to December last year, I got to know about a budding non-profit/non-governmental organisation, that was about to be established right here in my town!

Oh, you can imagine the joy I felt! Finally, I found a chance to become part of a vision that is bigger than I.

I delved in wholeheartedly and worked together with an awesome team to organise our first free medical community project.

I was tasked with setting up the medical team and supervising the basic health assessment procedures carried out on that day. Having an amazing team of happy and dedicated health personnel made it much easier for me. 

It was a fulfilling experience indeed. Words can not express how happy I was to have been able to affect people's lives positively in my little way.

The heartfelt gratitude and feedback we received from the members of the community were priceless.

I look forward to making more impact using the best of my abilities!
