My Elevator Pitch

The Content of My Elevator Pitch

\"A big misconception with youth in Kenya today is “I don’t have enough money to make a difference!” What about volunteering? It’s one of the ways you can make a tremendous impact by coming up with innovate solutions for your community. I’m Memory, founder of Humanity First Organization. We have a volunteer program that targets disadvantaged youth. We teach that money is not the only driver of change, but the desire to transform your community.\"

More About the Volunteer Program

  1. The Volunteer program is targeted to mainly youth who reside within the slums in Nairobi, Kenya.

  2. The Volunteer program take 8 months to complete.

  3. The Volunteer program offers addition life skills such as entrepreneurship

  4. The volunteer stations for the program are community based organizations such as schools and libraries.

As the program continues to evolve I welcome suggestions of how I can improve this volunteer program. One of the reasons I choose to set up a volunteer program is that I would like to impart a selfless habit to help the community, to the next generation of leaders in Kenya.

How to Get Involved

Look around you... Is there anyway you may help out?

Is there need for volunteers to run after school programs  like book club, volleyball?? Is there a school that is in need of tutors? What about your community in general, is it trash free or can you organize a clean-up? Is there a pet shelter around you? So many ways to impact your own communities.

Join me in making a difference in your communities.
