My Dad My Hero - join the campaign

Dear Friends and World Pulse Community:

As you know that my campaign “My Dad My Hero- Breaching Customs Structuring Future” has been awarded by World Pulse to raise awareness against child marriage.

Child marriage has been declared as a global issue that prevails in almost all regions, religions, cultures and ethnicities of the world. The happening of early age marriages can be witnessed from Middle East to Latin America, South Asia to Europe. Globally child marriage is considered as a human right violation for both boy and girl but girls are alarmingly at high risk of this violation. The main factors those are involved in promoting child marriage are poverty, protection of family honor, gender inequality and control over sexuality, women trafficking and tradition & culture.

“My Dad My Hero” has been designed to mainly focus men and boys to address the prevention of Child marriage by raising awareness at all levels. The reason to involve man and boys is to influence decision making process at household levels to decrease the number of child marriage incidences.

As an active member of World Pulse community, it is with great respect that I ask you to support my campaign by promoting and sharing it to maximum number of people.
