Motherhood

There's nothing in this world which gives me more satisfaction and pride than to see my daughter grow.

From the day, I held her in my arms for the first time till now, the feeling of pride has only grown and will continue to grow. We share a special bond which keeps on getting strong as the days go by. 

When she was delivered and doctors put her in my arms, tears rolled down my eyes and I felt it was all worth it. At that point in time she was the whole world. As I carried her whole night singing and trying to make her sleep, it gave me tremendous amount of satisfaction and happiness.

Though how I felt is difficult to express in words, I wrote following lines when she was only 3 and they perfectly describe my feelings..........

U are my sunshine, twinkle in my eyes

Smile in my heart, joy in my laughter

Hope in the darkness, flame in my candle

And the queen in the majestic kindom of my heart

U make my life so beautiful, wonderful and new

Songs in my heart are all about U...

Happiness now fills my day and night

An angel from heaven is what U are.

Now as she is growing  old and already surpassing me in hardwork & compassion and her father in intelligence, my pride in her keeps on growing with each day and I can strongly say that having a daughter is the best thing that can happen to anyone
